One Word Challenge, Part 16: "Close"

Two of my closer LJ amigos marimbadog and warmheartcold gave me ying-yang words for the "One World Challenge" in the form of "Open" and "Close". Originally I was going to combine these two words for one entry abut then -- duh -- I realized that two words kinda flies in the face of it being a one word challenge.

Nice job! I think I remember this the first time around. But I like the idea of "repurposing" entries. When you've been doing this blog thing as long as we have I think it's useful to go back now and again and revisit previous entries. I'm sometimes surprised at what I find in my back pages.

I really enjoyed this one, J. Very, very well done.

Loosely based on actual events in...2005?! or earlier. If earlier, kudos on a remarkable memory.

As an aside, I presented you with the word open, not close. So I'll eagerly wait for my entry. Though topping this one is gonna be tough. :)
