5.14.08 Convocation

This evening was the convocation ceremony for my MSU MA. MSU does two graduations - the convocation is the smaller ceremony that is just composed of your "school" (in my case, the Graduate School) where you walk across a stage and your name is read. The "big" graduation is where EVERYONE attends, and is much bigger, but a lot less personal

I never had a graduation cap! That's what keeps me motivated to keep going! I really really want it, haha.

Ya know - no matter what many people say about how much fun they had in highschool or whatever - for me, my life gets better as I get OLDER! I mean ok, highschool was fun for the lack of true responsibility, but honestly life is a lot more rewarding and fufilling with each year we age. I think it's more exciting to plan and live our current and future lives than it is to reminisce about a past, especially when life is getting better! Congrats, and I think you will continue to succeed. :)

I totally agree - although I had a great time in high school, I wouldn't want to go back at all! I think life is more exciting now!
