This evening was the convocation ceremony for my MSU MA. MSU does two graduations - the convocation is the smaller ceremony that is just composed of your "school" (in my case, the Graduate School) where you walk across a stage and your name is read. congrats! what are your plans for once you finish all your work and ceremonies? do you have a job lined up?
btw- that is so amazing you wont have any loans to pay back, that is rare these days! I wish I was in that situation!

Hey! Congrats! I thought it was funny because my experience was almost exactly the opposite! I had a good time with my high school graduation... because I knew a lot of people at that point including most of the people filming and doing lighting and all that because of the theatre stuff. And then in college I was very excited for the undergrad graduation, again knowing tons of people both graduating and in the audience watching. But with my masters graduation from GATech, the masters students all graduate with the undergrads in one of those huge ceremonies and I really have no allegiance to that school at all... so I didn't go! haha. your small ceremony sounds nice though!!!!! I'm jealous.
