An alternate version of when Cordelia wakes up in "You're Welcome." Yeah, I am still mad that she got written out of Season Five.

She had woken up to the bright fluorescent lights of the hospital room blinding her. Although she had known that she was in a hospital, she couldn’t say why or even where she was. When the first nurse had discovered that she was awake, there had been a flurry of doctors and activity surrounding her bed. Everyone wanted to know how she was, and she was just too embarrassed to tell them that everything was a blank so she nodded and she said that she thought she was okay. And then he had entered the room and he was tall, dark and handsome and she felt absolutely nothing as his face flooded with relief at the sight of her. And when he pulled her into his arms, she still felt nothing, even though she knew that she should feel something other than this terrible blankness. So she smiled at him and pretended that everything was okay when he pulled back.
