Can I just say that now I'm rereading that fic, and it's still really good, and thank you for reccing it so I could read it again.

Also--ugh, I am kind of sick of articles about Millenials. I appreciate yours for not being written by a Very Concerned Baby Boomer.

And I wholeheartedly endorse your writing a bookshop AU, if you are so inclined. I haven't seen nearly enough AUs around this fandom lately. If this isn't remedied, I may be forced to write another myself take drastic measures. Not that--I also am excited about In Media Res.

Oh, and I take generous amounts of honey in my chai, don't hate me.

Well, the chai I originally got addicted to (which was made by people from the Dushanbe tea house in Boulder, CO, had like three cups of sugar in it. I like it sweet, I just want it to actually have some sort of flavor. Damn it.

I was also really sick of articles written about Millenials. I mean, for fuck's sake, none of us are even in our thirties yet. It's early to start doing a post-mortem.

I have had many ideas about this bookshop AU, but most of them involve defiling stacks of popular authors's shitty books. Though today I was also plotting out something witty involving the titles of monthly romances from Harlequin. Which I happened to be shelving today. Basically, the more I work, the more inspiration I get.

I really like that essay. I get frustrated when people not of our generation try to tell us what we are like.

I can't wait for In Medias Res! I've been keeping myself from reading it while it's still in WiP status, but I look forward to reading it.

Thank you! And yes, I share the frustrations of people who don't know or understand me telling me about my life.

IMR should be done within... two months, let's say. There's two more chapters left, one of which is more than halfway finished.

Okay, rereading this comment while sober, I'm going to shorten that timeframe down to one month. That's the goal, anyway.

Essay: THANK YOU
Fic: AMAZING
Bookshops: ALWAYS
Fic: Stupid boy love is A+

Doughnuts: There's a Voodoo in Eugene but it's not that great; I don't know if they changed recipes or just differences of staff, but the few I've gotten from them have been over-baked/fried or stale...

I've never even had voodoo donuts, I've just heard about them for so long that I feel like they've been part of my life. It didn't help when I started to look at their menu and then started feeling all I WANT NOW.

I am ok with North Dakota and Montana, because I haven't been there yet. If it's at all possible to avoid South Dakota, I'd advise it. I have been there. It was flat and awful and kind of intimidating.

LOLZ I R LOST GENERATION. BROODY AND UNEMPLOYED. FEAR ME AND MY POETRY.
