What is Everything is Illuminated? A tv-show or new film coming out with Elijah Wood?

It's a GREAT book by Jonathan Safran Foer that they made into a movie that's been in theatres since September (I think, don't quote me). I still haven't seen the movie, but the book was wonderful.

How odd. I've been regularly checking movie listings and haven't even HEARD of it. (But I've been in farmland since September, so that may be why.)

I'll have to check out the book.

question: which would you say is better to start out with, the book or the movie? cos i could totally begin either way, and i do enjoy elijah wood's acting skills.

ooo it was a book first?! then i have to read the book first! i'll definitely pick it up, been looking for a good read. i always read the book first because when i watch the movie i always picture the actors when i read, or i'm waiting for certain scenes to go a certain way and they don't... and it just ruins it.

These are really pretty. I'm going to read Everything is Illuminated after Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Jonathan Safran Foer is amazing.
