I will probably not remember this dream, ever.
I had a dream last night that I got the opportunity to go to Japan for 2 weeks. I was very excited and knew that a bunch of my friends were also going. For some reason, the entrance to the airplane was a tiny, claustrophobic spiral staircase. I climbed up the stairs carrying (for some unknown reason) a garbage can. It's time for a happy post!
Ohayocon is just on the horizon! I am seriously excited for this- it's been since last Acen that I've been to a big decent con with all of my friends in attendance.
I've also broken my habit of making smaller, simpler costumes. I've pushed myself, and within just a bit over a months time, I have created and will be wearing Viola from Eternal ( Read more... ) -

Let's just say...things have been slow lately. Work, as I mentioned before is SO slow. There is barely any traffic in the store, so everyone's hours have gotten cut. I normally work 20 hours, and lately I've worked between 3-6 hours a week. People who work full time are only working 20 hours or less. It's pretty ridiculous ( Read more... ) -

Even though it seems like my life is submerged in it, I miss cosplay. And by this I mean, I MISS cosplaying. The majority of this year has been spent making costumes for others. End of Summer
Ok, back to my journal life. It's the last day of August. Wow. Don't get me wrong, I love summer- but- I really don't even feel like us in Chicago GOT a summer. Not 1 day in July reached 90 degrees. I didn't get to go to nearly as many outdoor BBQs as I would have hoped. Not enough evening fires, or festivals spent under a beer tent. It was just... ( Read more... ) -
