Less than 2 weeks till Warrior Dash!

Warrior Dash is less then two weeks away! I'm so excited. :-D Excited for the race itself, excited for the swag I'll get when I finish, excited for the after-party (and the FOOD!).

Still firmly on-track with my C25K training. Yesterday I did Week 7 Day 2-- 5min walk, 25min run, 5min walk. And I set a personal record for pace, according to ( Read more... )

I had shin-splints and had to quit running. I'm sure if I would have gotten better running shoes or something, it would have been better but isn't there something called "Runner's Knee?" Maybe that's what's going on?

GoT-I read all the books too and I STILL got chills when they started playing "Rains of Castamere." It was brutal. Although, the way it's written for the show, kinda opens questions about the future. My main thought is for the Stoneheart storyline.

Unfortunately running is one of the hardest exercises on your body. Kills your knees and other assorted joints, even when you're doing it right.

Game of Thrones was so good to see! Horrible, but good. I read the books as well, so I knew it was coming, but seeing it live was totally different.

I think I aught to just buy Game of Thrones. Everyone has seen it except me!

Maybe it's your shoes? Or maybe you need some sort of massage in your legs?

I wish sometimes that running was a thing I could do. I've tried it before, but between my bad right ankle and my bad right leg the impact is too much for me to handle and due to the nature of the "badness" it's not just something I can grit my teeth and work through :\

I love reading about your progress, though!

d'oh! How are your legs with walking? All the apps I mentioned that I use in that post a little while ago are perfectly suitable for walking, as well. I recommend Zombies, Run!-- it's fun and it makes me wanna go out there just so I can hear more of the story. :)

And thanks!! :D

I can walk to an extent before my leg swells up, but any standing or up/down really shortens the amount of time I can spend on my feet. I do a lot of walking despite this. We use Ingress as a way of getting off our butts to go explore the city, but I don't think there's an iOS app for it :\

I burst into tears at the end of GoT! So graphic. I've read the books, so I knew what was coming, but WOW. But next episode better have Jamie and Cersei see each other, I can't wait another year!

Yeah, what got me the most was actually the wolf dying. :/ The whole thing was just awful.

Apparently Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that Jaime returns to King's Landing next week, soooo... hopefully he and Cersei will be reunited!
