I read somewhere that all Japanese people refer to white people as having "blond hair" even if they have red hair, black hair, brown hair, or green hair. o.o

Yeah, I think that's true. They also seem to think that all gaijin have blue eyes-- even RooG, when we first started dating, told me I had nice blue eyes. O__o And Japanese people all have black hair and black eyes, according to them.

What on earth? Blue eyes?

Some Japanese people have brown eyes, but I guess they consider them black...?

Sorry but I have dark hair and no one has ever once said I had blond. No one has said I have blue eyes either, unless of course I had my contacts in ;)

These students are awesome! Hehe, that "he is crazy about his girlfriend" was a bit of a letdown though, it's like his fantasy is being crushed, poor guy.

All my kids say that I'm blonde, too!
I'm pretty sure it's basically 'any hair color that is not black'. Still, the ego stroking is nice, not going to lie. I remember being pretty taken aback when I first started teaching here, suddenly going from 'Oh my god she's so fat and bitchy' in university in the US to all my students being like YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL WITH YOUR LONG HAIR AND YOUR PALE SKIN I WISH I HAD YOUR EYES.

My Japanese students called my hair black, my white students in the US call it black, but my black students in the US say it's brown. So, maybe since yours is a chestnut color they think it's blonde? (Maybe the J-hair dye that makes your hair not even close to blonde is labeled as blonde??)

What always baffled me was that Japanese students told me my eyes were brown, but theirs were black - even though they were the same color as mine are.

I'm sorry but "His leg is so long. So, he has nice propotion." made me laugh so hard I cried for real. OMFG that is hilarious!!! And I'd love to meet the dude who is homosexuality. That's pretty impressive to carry that off alone. ;) ("He always gives a love into a male" omg I wish that kid knew what he just said...)

Yeah, I was sitting at my desk at school ROFLing when I read that last one!!! The thought of T's hero playing soccer "very well" with his one long leg was pretty funny too. ;D
