Aqua's focus was all on protecting Ven and the more permanent residents of Destiny Islands. She strode along the snowy beach with purpose, looking for any sign of the dog-like creature that had invaded the world. She sensed no malice from it in the same way she had with Unversed or, more recently, Heartless. Yet she knew it was a danger all the same, and if it attacked anyone, she had to be there to protect them.

She let out a soft gasp when she spotted the creature someways out to sea, poised on the ice and its eyes fixed straight on her. She couldn't help but wonder at how beautiful and majestic it was, even despite the chaos it caused.

But if it was going to hurt anyone, that ended here. She summoned her Master's Keyblade, the heavier and larger frame different to her old Keyblade but now familiar to her hands.

And she waited.

Suicune had perked Tidus' interest. After noticing how fast it moved, he decided the thing responsible for freezing the beaches would be a fun practice opponent.

So, there he was, running down the beach and onto frozen ocean water. Shirtless.

As he was running, he considered maybe it hadn't been the best idea, but after casting Haste on himself he was so fast the cold hardly bothered him at all. For the time being, he was focusing on just chasing the creature to try and reach it.

It's too bad he didn't know that his water sword would do less damage than he thought.

After witnessing firsthand the amount of power this legendary beast had, Rinoa was slightly skeptical if her mere powers alone could take on such an opponent. It was true that as a Sorceress, something like this should be as easy as sipping tea on a summer day, but the young fighter still had a lot to learn about her abilities and wasn't sure if she wanted to take her chances with it being so close to a neighboring village.

This was why she didn't hesitate to invite others along for the battle. Just in case by some small chance appearances were deceiving. With a few clicks the pinwheel on her arm came to life, spinning vibrantly in a light shade while waiting for usage. "I don't want to hurt you, but ..." And with that she was already casting her first spell per the suggestion of someone earlier. With the wind at her feet and a flick of her wrist, the spell Firaga weaved a path directly for the beast.

Seifer smirked as he moved catlike through the chaos surrounding the Coliseum. The moogles and Phil seemed preoccupied with evacuating the area of weaker opponents, much to Seifer's relief. He'd fight these creatures, with or without the presence of civilians, but their absence let his conscience rest easier. He'd removed his signature trench coat earlier and placed it somewhere safe. In a battle that would appear to be predominantly air defense, his agility would be severely hampered by it.

"Seifer, kupo! You have to leave!" Seifer looked down at the stuffed toy and he grimaced before kicking it away lightly.

"I'm taking care of it," he said as he started walking again, not truly sounding apologetic.

"Three words, dancer: Get your scrawny butt out there. This is part of your job, you hear!"

That was all Lilisette had heard from Phil when she'd arrived for work that day, and when she'd gone out to the Coliseum to see what all the fuss was about, she lifted her brows at the birds. And then, of course, she caught sight of Seifer in the middle of it all.

But at least she had an ally. She didn't want to have to wait on Zack and Cloud to get there if she had to call for back-up. Two against three would just have to do for the time being.

"Hey," she called over to him, offering a smile by way of greeting. "Don't wander too far off. We'll take care of it together."

Whether he was going to cooperate or not didn't matter; she'd make him cooperate with her. Drawing close to him she dipped low and then jumped up into a dance. Sensual Dance, for raised attack power, led right into Haste Samba, for faster hits. Outnumbered as they were, their hope was to get it over and done with as quickly as possible.

"Lilisette," he commented lightly as he turned to see his newest acquaintance. "You're assigned here, too? Or is the flaming scenery your idea of a vacation?" He grinned as he felt his pulse quicken with the effects of the spells. It'd been ages since he'd been under positive status magic, so when he jumped into the air, he felt as if he were flying.

The closest of the three seemed to be Zapdos within his arc of influence. As he flew forward in seemingly dilated time, he brought Hyperion to bear upon it. His blade connected with a rough explosion, causing the bird to shudder midflight. He smirked as his descent began. This already seemed too easy. The moment his feet his ground, however, his muscles locked up with spasms. The bird had hit him with a thunder shock. He slammed to the floor and grunted whilst getting back on his feet.

Well... this was something Kairi never would have thought would happen to her. She was floating a good few feet off the ground and trying as hard as she could to sort out her skirt she was wearing just in case anyone was close by. There was a few things she would not want to be shown and her underwear was one of those things.

Turning around upside down, Kairi made sure that her skirt was held down by her hands and feeling helpless once again since she couldn't use her Keyblade here. She looked over at the one who was causing this, watching as more things had started to float across her eye sight. She was helpless and she really hoped there was someone close by to help.

Chris after feeling the gravity of Radiant Garden being distorted and altered, thought about the situation and decided to transform into Kamen Rider Sting to find the source of the disturbance. This wasn't going to be easy.

Kairi was still floating, but thankfully had figured out just how exactly to float around and move about in the meantime, although trying to get to land on the floor apparently wasn't going to be happening any time soon. She looked over and spotted that another person was around here.

"Hello over there."

It was going to be difficult to contain the creature. Pluto knew this - the power coming off of it as it raged was incredible. Once more, she was handicapped without her Garnet Rod, but what other choice did she have? Someone had to calm the creature down, and quickly, before the spatial plane of the city was ripped apart.

With grace and agility, the soldier of time and space leaped from the ground and up onto the top of a building, jumping from roof to roof as she went to meet the monster. She didn't know the name. She didn't care. All she knew was that the creature was in pain and confusion, just as she had been when her world and her door had been snatched from her. It needed to be reassured, and calmed, now.
