She let out a soft gasp when she spotted the creature someways out to sea, poised on the ice and its eyes fixed straight on her. She couldn't help but wonder at how beautiful and majestic it was, even despite the chaos it caused.
But if it was going to hurt anyone, that ended here. She summoned her Master's Keyblade, the heavier and larger frame different to her old Keyblade but now familiar to her hands.

So, there he was, running down the beach and onto frozen ocean water. Shirtless.
As he was running, he considered maybe it hadn't been the best idea, but after casting Haste on himself he was so fast the cold hardly bothered him at all. For the time being, he was focusing on just chasing the creature to try and reach it.
It's too bad he didn't know that his water sword would do less damage than he thought.

This was why she didn't hesitate to invite others along for the battle. Just in case by some small chance appearances were deceiving. With a few clicks the pinwheel on her arm came to life, spinning vibrantly in a light shade while waiting for usage. "I don't want to hurt you, but ..." And with that she was already casting her first spell per the suggestion of someone earlier. With the wind at her feet and a flick of her wrist, the spell Firaga weaved a path directly for the beast.

She took off in the direction of the noise, her shoes crunching happily in the snow.

"I should just let the people with magic handle this," he muttered to himself. He saw the others doing things that were physically impossible in his world, though they still seemed to need some help. He couldn't leave without even attempting to aid them.
He managed to put together an improvised sling. It wasn't likely to do much damage, and it didn't have anywhere near the distance of his bow. Once he figured out what strategies the main fighters were using, he would know exactly where to aim.
If only the frozen beach had better places to hide.
