WHO: glorious_mercy and duelking LOCATION: Port Royal TIME: Today-ish? WHAT: Zell's finally feeling better and decided to go seek out Sephiroth to thank him personally for saving his life. RATING: PG-13 at most?
Indeed, the tall general with silver-hair stood out like a sore-thumb in this world, no matter where he might be. Despite the coarseness of the world, he accepted the challenge it presented since the largest body of it's population was rather lawless. Those that weren't however were easy enough to deal with though.
He'd heard Zell's arrival via the sound of it, but continued reading the piece of paper he currently held even as he spoke up toward the blond. "Welcome to Port Royal, Zell. What brings you here?"
"Yo!" was Zell's loud greeting, accompanied by a mock salute.
When it came to actually answering the question, however, he was a little sheepish. His grin was lopsided as he rubbed the back of his neck. Best just to be forward; he was pretty much just here to thank him, after all.
"Well, uh. I know it's been a few week since the Hades Cup, but I wanted to wait until I could do it in person." He paused, bouncing slightly on the balls of his feet. Restless, antsy. As always. "Uh. I just mean-- thank you for savin' my life back there."
He stopped bouncing, conscious that it may have made him look less than sincere as opposed to just nervous. It was hard to swallow his pride and admit he'd been mauled, but... In spite of that, he was completely genuine and even gave a grateful smile. "Really. I mean it."
Sephiroth set the paperwork down on the table before him and half turned to face the blond before him, despite the stoic expression he was silently amused when Zell ceased his bouncing...reminding him again somewhat of Zack with is actions and body language.
"You're welcome. I'm sure if our positions had been reversed you would have done the same, hm?"
Anything less would have threatened Zell's personal code of honor. Well, and the fact that he was an all-around nice guy, really. He grinned, suddenly bringing his dukes up. Really, he could have just left it alone and ended it there, but Sephiroth was his hero, now. Which meant, Zell wasn't gonna leave him alone. And with that, he began bouncing again, throwing out a couple playful punches at the air.

"Maybe you could show me a few moves, huh?!"
