[ It's about 8am right now, and if Tyr's messy hair is any indication, he's just waking up. He looks at the device with bleary eyes. ]

What is this doing on? [ He mumbles, then continues...without moving his lips: ] It can't have been broadcasting the inside of my drawer since Saturday...

[When she first gets the message without having seen Tyr's post first, Rita's mostly just wondering why he's telling her that he's going back to bed. Unless he's gotten sick, too, and is just pretending everything's normal....]

I'm coming over.

[It's weird and it's frustrating, hearing these thoughts from him. It's almost tempting to talk further, but she already decided that it wasn't right.

Rita chooses not to voice a response to that latest thought, though she does look at him. No, she won't forget, even if she doesn't really know what to do about this--besides the fact that she's starting to feel impatient with...whatever it is they're doing or not doing about it.]

...Okay. I'll see you then.

[ He feels a little uncomfortable when she looks at him like that, but just nods. ]

Bye... Take care going back. Something might hav- It's one of those weekends, so...

[Something might have happened in the City? She guesses that's where he was going with that.]

[ And he was going to admit he didn't check that well in the first place... ]

[A part of Rita is still relieved that he isn't afflicted with a dangerous curse, at least...but she'll be careful on her way back, anyway.

She gives him one last concerned look, and then turns for the door.]

Twenty-four hours later...!

[ He gives her an apologetic smile and tries not to think of anything as she leaves, not until he closes the door. ]

I hope she's okay...

[ In a lot of ways. Okay on her way back, okay with Yuri being sick, okay after what happened, okay for the rest of the month...

There's no curse the following Monday, thankfully, and it's obvious from the network. The way over, he wonders if they should even address what happened the previous day. It's been weighing on his mind with him vacillating being completely honest and acting like his thoughts were misleading.

He still doesn't have it figured out when he gets to the beach house. He does, however, have the cat hat over his bandana, and actual clothes beneath his cloak. ]

[And she hopes the same for Tyr. While she's generally okay, there's still a lot of confusing feelings to sort out...By the time Tyr arrives, Rita hasn't come to much of a decision beyond gauging his reaction today.

She happens to be heading across the hallway with a yawn when she realizes that Tyr's there--and wearing the hat, even, much to her satisfaction. It does look cute on him. There's a blush on her face, partially from seeing him, and perhaps partially because she's decided to wear a pair of cat ears today.]

[ ...Cat ears. He's glad she can't hear his thoughts anymore, because that blush and those cat ears are so cute... It still makes him blush a little even as he smiles at her. In the back of his mind, he remembers she likes when he smiles. ]

Good morning. [ He undoes his cloak and swings it over the arm he's holding his staff with. ] I knew you weren't actually a morning person...

[She thinks she understands why he's blushing now, at least, and it's...definitely not a bad reaction. Her smile turns to a blink of confusion though. (Her hair's probably sticking up too; she stuffed the cat ears on but didn't care too much about brushing.)]

[ He keeps smiling. Sure, he's thinking just as he did the day before, but he can act normal at least. ]

[What is a normal sleeping schedule. Rita's smile returns, and--with just a hint of shyness--she asks-]

[ What is a normal sleep schedule indeed... Even if he's a little worried still - maybe paranoid - he really does like being like this. He reaches up to touch the hat. ]

It's pretty warm. It doesn't feel weird with my bandana, either...

[It looks kind of weird with the bandanna. She liked how he looked with just the hat--though she still likes it on him, bandanna or not.]
