[ It's about 8am right now, and if Tyr's messy hair is any indication, he's just waking up. He looks at the device with bleary eyes. ]

What is this doing on? [ He mumbles, then continues...without moving his lips: ] It can't have been broadcasting the inside of my drawer since Saturday...

[ He leaves it on a little while longer as he looks

[When she first gets the message without having seen Tyr's post first, Rita's mostly just wondering why he's telling her that he's going back to bed. Unless he's gotten sick, too, and is just pretending everything's normal....]

I'm coming over.

[It's really hard to focus on what he's actually saying when she's trying to figure out why he's thinking what he does. What about Yuri? Or Riou or that other guy?

--But he did say he likes the hat, at least.]

I-it wasn't really about matching or anything--I mean, it's not like I really care about that.

[ If she couldn't read his thoughts, he'd deny thinking she was cute so often, but when she's like this, he can't help it. She's cute when she's flustered.

He puts the hat on his head to tease her. It looks silly with his hair sticking out at all angles, but it can't be helped. ]

So what was it about?

U-uh, I...It's...

[He keeps thinking things like that, and she's only been here for a few minutes...If she thinks a bit more clearly, she might realize just how much he might be thinking that when they're together for long periods of time.

But right now, she's mostly just so flustered that she sputters a bit--even though she's starting to feel a little awkward. She shouldn't be listening in on his thoughts like this without him knowing...]

...I...think you're cursed today.

[stargathering]

[ His mind goes blank when she says that, and he takes the hat back off to hold like a lifeline. Now he's worried again. He hasn't really looked at himself to know if there's something off about him, and if he was cursed, he might not realise it anyway... That was how curses worked. ]

Why?

[She does feel sort of guilty, as embarrassed and otherwise confused as she is--but she tries to explain both clearly and unalarmingly...which might end up coming off as blunt.]

I can hear what you're thinking. Any...clear thoughts.

[ It was probably best to be blunt, anyway, and if he could think clearly before, he's too paranoid now to even try.

...And it's hard for him to talk when his thoughts are jumbled trying to remember what he was thinking and if that was the entire reason she was blushing and acting embarrassed before - he must have thought of something that embarrassed her.

He stands in front of her, staring and speechless save a little- ] ...Oh.

[She's not about to apologize for hearing them, but she does feel a little bad for him...He probably feels almost as awkward as her.]

...Yeah. You know, like...you kept thinking I was cute.

[Saying that makes her face burn red. It's really, really weird to know that Tyr's been feeling that way for--who knows how long. And she...she doesn't really mind.]

[ Kept thinking... His face goes red from both shame and embarrassment, and she can probably hear him repeating No to himself in his head as he looks away from her. She's pretty when she blushes, too.

How is he supposed to deal with this?

The best way he knows how: Denial. ]

Don't tease me. Saying I'm cursed is serious...

[She can hear the chorus of no, and it makes her feel worse, really. She couldn't just go on and pretend that everything was normal, though.]

You know I'm serious.

[She glances away, then starts to turn around.]

...I should go. We can talk after the curse is over. [Her voice is low but not angry. Somewhere, she might be relieved that he's not cursed with something serious, but...Now she thinks mind-reading isn't exactly a good curse, either.]

[stargathering]

[ He feels horrible, too. ]

This isn't right... You're friends, and... [ He sighs. ]

Sorry...

[ But he would rather she left before he thought something he'll regret more than complimenting her appearance.

His thumbs run over the hat again. It's soft... ]

...Thanks for the hat. I promise I'll wear it... To make up for everything.

[She doesn't just want him to wear it to make up for things...He doesn't have anything to feel guilty about--she's just conflicted, too.

She turns her head enough to glance back at him, face still red.]

It's not like it's your fault or anything. And...[She doesn't mind what he was thinking...But she knows she shouldn't stay and take advantage of it.]

It's okay. A-and the hat looks good on you.

[stargathering]

[ Is she really saying his thoughts are okay? -Of course she would. He's the one having a problem with them. He likes that she thinks it looks good on him, though... She didn't even say it was cute. ]

[ ...Maybe just to test it, he looks over at her again and thinks: ]

And you are cute- [ And unintentionally adds: ] -when you blush like that.

[ There, he admitted it again. Maybe he'll feel less guilty if he's honest... It's not like he can really lie to her. ]

[And even if she tried, there's no stopping the fierce blush that takes over her face. Is he trying to tease her now that he's figured it out?]

[Since she can't really know how well he can control his thoughts once he's aware of the curse...]

Yeah- It's not a big deal. You already know that.

[ Because he thought it and said it before. It's not like saying she's cute changes anything. It shouldn't. He's the one making his thoughts mean more than they have to... Even thought she is a lot more than a cute face to him. ]

[It sort of seems like his thoughts are going by too fast for her to catch more than a few things--not that she's trying to--and she continues to blush.]

W-well, yeah, but...

Anyway- [She should go, but she there is one thing she'd like to know-] You like the hat, right?
