I haven't read much of Rhymer's stuff - just their one Pirate AU. When I get in the mood for gen fic, I tend to go with Tipper or NotTasha (plus, they do Rodney whump, which is my favorite). So I have a whole new author to explore, now XD

Where the White Lilies Grow is John whump but is about John-Rodney friendship, I think you'd like it. And in The Comfort of Strangers (outsider POV) they both get very whumped and again it's a close John-Rodney friendship. :)
