For lunch today, I am having sushi, kumquats, tom yum cashews, pomegranate limeade and candied hibiscus flowers.

Have I ever mentioned I love Trader Joes? 'Cuz I totally, totally do. :D

(Also, re: Star Trek, which I saw last night -- several kinds of awesome. Go see it. Grace and I were also cracking bad jokes about how an entirely new generation of ( Read more... )

IT WAS INDEED. SEVERAL THOUSAND KINDS OF EPIC, IN FACT.

I read your spork of the Emma Moonrunner failIfic and was cry-laughing throughout. Oh dear lord, how...? I just have no words. Awesome, man, awesome.

I also appreciated your attempts to chat me up with lines about sand, oh yes. *laughs* Try using them on Obi-Wan -- I'm sure he'll find them ~utterly irresistable~.

Oooh, ooh, does next Sunday work? I'm totes done with exams after this week, and OUR RAVES WILL BE EPIC. *excited*

Trader Joe's is the most amazing store ever, trufax. The limeade was delicious, as were the random hibiscus flowers. Grace and I make a point of trying something new and bizzare every time we go shopping there. If you're ever near one, check it out! It is a thing of great glory.

Um, um, that's a hard choice. I mostly went to Wolverine for the hotness of Hugh Jackman and gratuitous explosions, but Trek was more satisfying plot-wise. Go to both if you can, but I think you might like Trek a bit better.

Um...can I get back to you on timing? I have the feeling my clan of friends may be plotting something epic over the weekend in celebration of exams being over, but sometime in the afternoon would probably work. I'll let you know, and I'll look forward to it!

You should definitely go to your Trader Joe's. They have delicious, delicious things for surprisingly decent prices. It's a trap, though -- you're surrounded by so much awesome-looking stuff for good prices that you wind up buying more and weirder stuff than you ever intended. (Beware the exotic fruit. I think that aisle's claimed my soul.)

What's The Fountain about? I've heard of it, but I've never seen it. If it contains Hugh Jackman and comes recommended by you, though, it's bound to be awesome!
