Just an idea I had, any opinions?

     Gravel dug into my cheek as I cracked my eyes open.  It was raining and I was lying on my side. 
     Where was I?  With a groan, I pulled my arm up to try to leaver myself into a sitting position.  A steady ache moved from my elbow to my shoulder, but I made it into a sitting position.  My eye sight blurred, while my head started to throb.  I

Thanks. It was one of those middle of the night dumps. I'd already been writing on something else when this popped up. Not sure where it's going or if it will go anywhere at all. We'll see.
