eaten up from underneath

but my legs themselves betray

Freedom's Flame

in the circle back to back
waiting for the king’s attack
 split the mountain, scorched the sea
the circle breaks, the soldiers flee
fire flickered in the wind
but I for one would not give in
but I was one and he was legion
he sought to slay the flame of freedom
the tyrant came
down from the sky
and freedom’s flame
began to die
