One can say that the cast of Battlestar Galactica is perhaps one of the greatest things about the show. It's a rare thing for a television show to bring together such an eclectic mix of experienced, veteran actors and relative, youthful newcomers and have them click so perfectly

He does not appear in Loyalty and Duty. So make sure that you note that when ordering from Netflix.
Also, while he is in the epidoes, they're really about Ioan Gruffudd, so you'll have to put up with seeing a lot of him.

Someone else mentioned that Kate Vernon had appeared on Falcon Crest. It was one of my mom's favorite shows when I was growing up, but I can't remember much from it. Wonder if there are any pics of her on the show.

Kate Vernon played Lance's (Lorenzo Lamas) wife, although I can't remember her name. She was very pretty- still is, but her character was also nicer then!

hehe, wow, Kate playing a nice person! This I must see! I love hating her character on BSG. Ellen is so easy to not like, but at the same time, I LIKE not liking her!

As for following after I found BSG... well you know the answer to Mary, and I've recently gone out and bought what could be the shittiest TV show ever, just because Eddie's in it.
And I'm really looking forward to Katee's stuff. Nothing like blowin' up shit for no good reason.

How's the Hornblower series? I added the first series to my Netlfix queue.
Ah, I forgot to add that I'd seen Grace in SG1 as Lt. Satterfield. I still laugh every time I see that ep now. She looks ickle, even though that was, what... okay, five years ago now.
LOL. GO MIAMI VICE!!! *g*
I might have already asked you this, so thwap me if I have, but do you know what Katee's other project is? I remember the trailer you sent for the movie that's coming out soon, but I can't for the life of me remember the other thing...

I can describe Hornblower in two words: Very.British. Utterly and completely pom with tea and crumpets to spare. It's like you're swimming in the Thames when watching it's THAT BRITISH.
Yeah it's Miami Vice. So far only have season two...waiting for season one to go cheap.
*headdesk* The Last Sentinel and White Noise 2. Her hair is blue in the first, red in the second, and REALLY WANT TO SEE BOTH.

Well, then, I suppose I shall like it. You know me and British and Australian people, bwah.
I think they're airing the pilot to Miami Vice on tv Friday. I saw mention of it on the Eddie mailing list.
*snerk* Blue and red hair... She should add a little white in there and then she'd be all star-spangled banner. :)

before bsg, i knew, out of the regular cast: james callis (bridget jones' diary), kandyse mclure (took me a while to place her, but she's been in smallville), eddie olmos (a movie i saw about a year ago, can't remember the title), richard hatch (the old bsg), lucy lawless (xena, warrior cyl princess), and mary mcdonnell.
actually, you know the story of my actually starting to watch bsg because i saw mary in donnie darko, so i won't repeat that.
anyways, my first memory of mary is as stands with a fist. i LOVE dances with wolves, it's a family affair for all of us over here. we sit down and watch it whenever's on tv, because we're just obsessed with it. i used to love (still do) her hair most of all, because it's so much like my own (scary, isn't it). either way, she became part of me long before i knew who she was as an actress.
then i remember seeing her in independence day, which is another one of those movies we all watch, because it's just so wicked cool (and will smith and ( ... )

i was a fan of the old bsg back in the day, so i knew right away. when i saw his name appear in the credits i was like zomgs!original apollo. :)
i remember driving my best friend insane with marilyn's death scene. that was like over a year ago, waaaaaay over a year ago, when i wasn't a mary!fan. but i just drove her nuts, because that scene is just so sad. and the way she sends her daughter away... and then she and bill pullman's character hug, and they love eachother and it's just so sad... *le sigh*
james IS creepy, but i like creepy! i find him to be a fantastic actor. i'd love to have coffee with him someday in a foggy little london pub and pick his brain. :)
