When I first read that nevcolleil's fic "Distance" is a Supernatural/Highlander crossover I was skeptical. Skeptical but intrigued. Intrigued enough to start reading. By the end of the third paragraph I was hooked. Not bad for two fandoms in which I'm only mildly interested. :)

Yeah, it's kind of obscure. It's from a particular episode of "The Daily Show." Stephen Colbert did a segment called "This Week in God." Totally sacrilicious. :) The icon refers to the episode where he challenged Quetzalcoatl to come down from the heavens and prove his existence. When the plumed serpent god failed to appear, he was delared a pussy. LOL!
