Today was an old school good day!

Working a million hours...yeah...whatever, but I walked into work only to find:

- Insane news!

Wow - I need to hear how that Strummer thing is. He was (is) my #1 all-time R&R hero.

And is The Glove that record whose art includes that glove monster thing from Sgt. Pepper? Or am I thinking of a different record?

It was SUPER interesting. He is my #1 all-time R&R hero as well. I think one thing that really stands out in that documentary is how humble and gracious he is. (which I've heard about before). But its just insane how unfazed he is. Like, conceptually, what the Clash accomplished doesn't come across in his personality, you know what I mean ( ... )

Aw, I have to see it. Strummer never got the cred he deserved. People who don't appreciate him must be fools and/ or blithering idiots. Because he is THE man.

I love him.

BTW, isn't it his birthday today (8/21)?

The commentary about the movie was really interesting, and Dick Rude (director) will pretty much agree with you that he didn't get the cred he deserved.

Oh "Let's Rock Again"...I didn't cry as much as I expected, but not crying at all certainly wasn't going to happen. But there is much laughter as well. A rollercoaster ride of emotions? Errrr, more like rock and roll.

I'm totally digging this Defiance, Ohio CD. It rained all day today...it seemed to be the perfect day for it!!!

I know, I teared up a bit and then laughed quite a bit too. Oh Joe, why must you toy with my emotions?!
