What's up with you? I'm pretending to be a real adult at the moment with a middle class job at a university in Vancouver. It's freaking me out. :D

hahaha yesssssss, adulthood has grabbed me, too. My job is pretty awesome (I posted about it under f'lock for reasons that will probably be obvious), and I've been doing okay.

randomly, with SDCC happening right now, I keep remembering when we went and how much fun it was. SIGH.

OMG, I just went back and read about your job! LIVING THE DREAM!!!

Gosh, I always get really sad when I can't go to SDCC again, (especially when there are amazing panels or exclusive goodies-- I'm looking at you Agent Carter swag) but it sounds like it's even more crowded and impossible to get into panels than when we went all those years ago. People are camping out for DAYS now just to get any seat in Hall H!! That's nutty! I think I've kind of unofficially told myself now that I'm not allowed to go back unless I'm on a panel in order to kick my own ass creatively.

OMG, I KNOW. I just found you on AO3 the other day and am trying really hard not to read Firebirds at work right now. (Since I spent all day yesterday re-reading the Outsiders Arc and Pantheon and OMG that is still so good. Like I've read so much fic since and it's still so complicated and rich and just the best, Alicia.)

I'm so behind on the comics now, though. Any highlights I should pick up at the local store to catch back up on our faves?

Well, boring generally pays the bills. I alternate between boring and exciting, and exciting is fun, but I am currently at a point in my life where it's nice to come back to a 9-5 that guarantees I'll be able to pay my rent. :)

Congratulations on the family! Having two little girls must provide some NOT boring moments, I'm sure.
