[There's the sound of clanking and clinging on the feed for a moment, and some muffled, thoughtful mumbling from someone in the background.]

Well, let's see. If I move this block here and put in this one, it should increase the acceleration of the ship...

[He scoots out from underneath the gummi ship and, oh hello! The feed gets a nice few of ( Read more... )

Do you need some help, Master?

[And there's Anakin standing over Obi-Wan. He's tried to stop addressing him the way he's used to, but it's what he's accustomed to. He kneels down and falls on his back, sliding under the ship.]

I could probably modify a greater amount of blocks into warp blocks. Or we could substitute some of the power needed for the armor of the ship and switch it to the speed.

[And it hasn't really stopped being awkward for him, but he'll roll with it! He grins and scoots back under the ship to take another look with Anakin. Why hadn't he asked him before? He built a droid by himself as a boy, after all. He was a mechanical prodigy!]

That's good thinking, Anakin! I think we should try modifying, first. If we take too much from the armor and put it into speed, I'm worried it'll be harder to control. [He looks over, flashing him a humorous look.] We're no good to anyone if we crash into an asteroid.

But it being harder to control only makes it that much more fun.

[Anakin's voice echoes a little before he glances out from underneath the ship.]

What if we directed some of the power used in the lasers to the engines?

You would say that. [Just gives him a look. The look.] I would rather it be safe than fun.

[He pauses to consider that, then nods.] That could work. We don't need as much firepower if we can outmaneuver things. [He starts to scoot further underneath the ship, towards the engine, then stops.] Have you had a chance to play around much with these? The blocks can be sort of tricky.

They're pretty neat to look at, but I get sick when I ride in one. I never really understood the block stuff though but uh... I can try keeping an eye out or somethin', I guess.

Motion sickness? [He nods his head.] I would greatly appreciate it. It's a fairly small block from what I've read.

Yeah. Weirdest thing, it only happens in the gummi ships. I always gotta be hunkered down in a ball way in the back to keep myself from gettin' sick all over the place. I never really got into the things though so it's pretty beyond me as to what they all look like, but there should be some guy who can tell which ones are which, right?

That sounds awful. [A sympathetic frown.] I'm certain there's medicines to treat that sort of thing. Or... in my galaxy, there was at least. There should be, yes. If I could send you a picture of what they looked like, I would-- [Oh! And then he gets an idea.] I have a book here that I've been reading all about gummi ships. It has a picture of the Warp-G block, if that helps. [He flips to the page and holds it up to the feed.]

[Ami, in everyday clothes, has a book in her hand with her finger marking the place.]

I'm very interested in the gummi ships as well. Do you mind sharing what you learn about them?

[Oh, hey-- it's you again! He smiles.]

Not at all. But first, do you mind me asking your name? We've spoken before and I don't think we ever properly introduced ourselves. I'm Obi-Wan Kenobi.

I'm Ami Mizuno. [She gives her name in the same order he does.] Please forgive me for not introducing myself sooner.

It's a pleasure to formally meet you, Ami. Don't worry, I'm just as much at fault for not doing so myself. [He takes a breath, glancing at the ship for a moment, then back at Ami.] At the moment, I've been trying to poke around at the insides of this thing and see precisely how it's run. It seems strange for it to just... run on smiles and happy things. I'd like to see if it's possible for it to run on other things. [More reliable things...]

[Since Lizzie had returned from The World That Never Was, she had been more keeping quiet to herself rather than being her usual self and talking to many others. Today she was going to start going back to her yusual activities and hopefully get the Garden Festival back on track as soon as possible. For the moment though she switches on the feed with a small smile.]

I've never come across something called a warp block, but maybe the Moogles might be helpful and tell you where there is a higher chance of finding one.

That's a good possibility. I've asked the ones around Twilight Town, but perhaps I ought to look into asking them in other worlds.

I can always ask the Moogles here if they know anything, but I don't think you can find Gummy's around here.

That's all right. Even if there's not, it's one less place to have to go hunting in.

[Do you see these big eyes of awe and admiration Obi-Wan? Cause they're looking at you.]

Stitch wants to build a space ship, too!

[Awww, he's such a cute little fella! But wait--]

You want to build a ship? [Qui-Gon's little weasel thing is enough of a handful... but then, Stitch seems rather intelligent and talented, whereas the furret is just a blasted pest.] Do you know how to build one?

[Stitch nods twice.] Stitch can make all sorts of things.

[Like bombs inside of dolls. The usual.]

Well, I suppose a couple extra hands couldn't hurt as long as you're careful.

[Oh dear, Obi-Wan. What are you getting into.]
