I think you're right.

Where I come from, Turk is a type of ethnicity, or well a group of similar ones,mostly from Asia. If you haven't heard of Asia, then we have to be from different worlds. That's a whole continent.

Where I'm from, a Turk is a member of the Investigative Division of the Shin-Ra Electric Power Company's Department of General Affairs. It's an unofficial nickname that's widely recognized and our being Turks has nothing to do with our ethnicity.
