Vacation today and next week. Today was slated to get as much stamped on the calendars as possible, but found out that Don was in bad shape, so phone calls, etc. took over. He's in a coma in the ICU in the veterans hospital in Portland OR with his organs rapidly shutting down; liver cancer. M's flying out this evening ( Read more... )

The other day in Shop 'N Save, I saw a girl with a halo and scars all over her face and head that were healing well. Asked when she'd be getting her halo off. She'd just had it put on, and had neck surgery coming up; the result of a close encounter of the moose kind. She was one lucky young lady, and think she realized it.
