( Five minutes later he hung up the phone, face red and head steaming. Duo’s raucous laughter echoed in his ears for hours afterward. )

i seriously had a hard time starting this because i was soooo nervous about writing it. and i had to double check on facts like....wufei and relena never meeting during the series or during EW. this is supposed to be canon but post-war. they're supposed to be like....17 in this. it's been a while since i was 17 but then again we also have to keep in mind that these characters have seen to much to be truly 17.

did that make sense? i hope so.

but i also shot myself in the foot because i allowed myself to just write...and then realized it was over 1K words...and if i left it at that every part would have to be 1K...and so i trimmed it down until i felt the story would suffer if i trimmed it any further. so i basically committed myself to 4.5K words for just this one couple.....

lol. heero and duo only got 500 words total and tetsuya/kasanoda only got 1K words total.

i am in a talky mood today, so forgive me.

i know! it's always so hard to know just where and how to cut and what to say... but, i think you've done an excellent job here showing the attraction on both their parts. :)

truthfully, i did a little mental review when duo introduced the two. wufei doesn't meet relena, or at least they have no camera time together. it is possible they met while on the peacemillion after the libra is destroyed, and it is possible they might have met between wars. but, going the route you have is probably the best -- for your story. :)
