I wish I could get a view of the ocean
I love my new house, and I don't mind the paint, but we are wall to wall beige. I think I would like to paint my master bath a nice relaxing sea inspired blue/green...or maybe I would just like a view of the ocean from my bathroom window!

I am handy to have around
I am definitely the handy person in my house. I think I am the most impressed with my ability to fix the toys my men (husband and son) have broken. I once took apart my husbands PS2 controller fixed a broken joy stick and reassembled it again in working order...I actually did this twice because he eventually broke the other stick too! :)

Wow!
Wow! Your SAHMs must LOVE MDO!!!! I have the day off for Veteran's Day, and it is the first time I have been able to send Jacob to school and not have to go to work! It is amazing. I have baked a cake, cleaned all the toilets, sinks, and my shower, done a load of laundry, started the dishwasher, and am posting on LJ and it is only 10:30! And I ( Read more... ) -
Trauma
Yesterday Jacob got a little too brave and decided to walk down the stairs of my grandmothers deck on his own. He is usually so good about crawling down them backwards, but my grandma had been holding his hand and helping him walk down "like a big boy". Needless to say his bravery didn't turn out so well.
