See, I disagree. I don't think UF is wish fulfillment for women, and I certainly don't think I write "porn for women." Porn is porn for women. I don't write porn at all, actually, for either sex. And I think to say that when men read about sex they don't care about characterization or story is doing men a disservice as well; there are men who want more than big tits and dirty words, and there are men who read and enjoy urban fantasy. There may be a section of romance and UF writers who try to feed into that conception, but I don't and my friends don't
