I am currently reading the Dresden novels and I just finished Blood Rites which was great, I am about to start Dead Beat and my question is: where did Harry say that quote about his life being a low budget movie?

I could have sworn that he said it in Blood Rites but someone told me he says it in Dead Beat, but that sounds so familiar to me it couldn't have been in Dead Beat since I haven't read that one yet.

I will bow to your knowledge of the Dresden Novels, which I know is greater than my own!!

I want to say it was said in Dead Beat as well.

Found your page through dresdenfilesrpg. . .

Um I just recently read this and I have to say it's not bad. For me that is pretty much exactly how I pictured Morgan, though not in a suit. Carmichael seemed about right to me as well. The toad demon was spot on.

Really the only character design that has bothered me so far is Murphy, she's been packed inside that trench coat since Welcome To The Jungle. If I recall correctly, she was supposed to be wearing a smaller leather jacket when Dresden passes out in her office. Her long hair kept throwing me off cause I kept forgetting that she doesn't get the shorter cut until the next book.

They can't do everything Butcher does with the books, but for the most part the comic does a fine job with the story.
