There's so much to praise about this part. I love Ann's total agony when Robin tells her about four-times-a-day. I really felt that. And how sweet Ted is - how he's obviously attracted to her.
I'm trying to work out how you're going to resolve this story. But it's like watching a magic trick! I can't make it out at all. I'm sure you're palming a card though!

I'm glad you enjoyed this part because it veers a little further from the humor and that's always a risk. And I agree - Ted is SO into her already...guh poor guy.

I love the way that Ann is narrating this story instead of it being told in third person like most other fics, and I love that everyone is so in character. Especially Ted. He is so sweet, as usual!
The baby incident? I want to know!!! Cliffhangers are evil but I'm sure it will be worth it!

I also really continue to just adore Ann. I loved the awkwardness with Robin, and how Robin, in trying to make it better, actually made it SO MUCH WORSE, and Ted trying to comfort her and letting her know that Robin is out of the loop, that Barney has changed since they dated (or has he? Can't wait to find out if the way Barney is with Ann is the New Barney or if he's just not really in love with Ann, or what). I loved Ann thinking about how she doesn't actually want to have sex four times a day, but she'd like for Barney to at least want to have sex with her that often.

I really really dig this. It's so obvious that Ann complements Ted's narrating style perfectly, and she absolutely has his sense of drama and fate going on in every word here.
He should just stick with models and news anchors who don’t watch workout videos purely to make fun of the instructors while drinking milkshakes like I do
Haha! Ahaha. Ann really is the everywoman. But in a very special way. I love it so much!
And ohhh Teddy. Oh, Teddy boy. You are so into her! I love how wonderful he is to her even though she's totally off-limits (for the time being).
And look at you, Miss Updating-more-than-once-in-forever! I knew you could do it! I'm so looking forward to seeing how everything shakes out. :D
