A very emotional story!

I like how well Steve knows his team and that all he wants to do is protect them from pain, especially Danny.

Oh, I really enjoyed reading this. Seeing Danny through Steve's eyes and Steve's protectiveness for the whole team was wonderful, this just flows really well.

Thank you! I'm glad it flows well, I was wary initially because I kept screwing up the tenses. Seeing Danny through Steve's eyes was one of my favorite parts about writing this.

if its one thing I love in this world - its an overprotective father - and Danny ticks all those boxes....

I believe that when a daughter is young that she should be overprotected - only problem is that some fathers don't know when to lighten up when they get older....LOL and I think that Danny will be one of those too - but at this stage in his daughter's life, its adorable!

I love overprotective fathers, which is such a large part of my writing this. Of course, I love overprotective fathers until it's my own. Nineteen, Dad, thanks. And of course Danny is going to be one of those Dads that needs someone else to tell him it's okay to take a step back once in awhile.
