I so understand Danny wanting to protect his daughter from the horrors of the real world, but I gave that up by the time mine were old enough to turn on the TV. Nice fic. I do have to ask though, about that teacher - how old were the students and what did the teacher show pictures of?

College, generic history course, so unfortunately it was full speed ahead territory. Starved, dead, children were just not what I wanted to see with no warning at 9 a.m.

But thank you. And yeah, I figure Danny would just be the person to want to believe he could protect her from everything, even if he knows that he can't.

Youch, I can't even imagine how Danny would feel after something like that. D:

Good thing he has Steve to keep him steady.

Of course Steve will keep him steady. <3 They balance each other out and talk each other off a lot of ledges, don't they?

Seeing Danny's emotion over this through Steve's eyes is really wrenching - you can tell that he just wants to stop the hurting in any way he can. Lovely :)

<3 Thank you. Danny's always trying to stop Steve from seeing just how much he loves his daughter, all the lengths he's willing to go, but Steve always seems to find it so endearing. Any kind of negative emotion with Danny - he just seems to want to fix it. All of the things he's done on the show to help Danny, too - like giving him that hotel room in the first episode, or fixing the battle with Rachel.

this is one of those stories that make you laugh and cry at the same time. Steve is such a good friend to Danno here, and Danno gets a little tiny bit of relief. Which is usually enough to be going on with.

Thank you for a very good story.

*grins* Thank you! I - I wish you could see how I am grinning right now. Poor Danny needs some TLC after this day. I think they all do.

And thank YOU for reading.

Hey, playing "Sexy Eyes" in a crowded room while under the watchful eyes of a strange little girl was a term of endearment, okay? The sooner you accept that, the sooner we can move on.

You already know I love this. ♥ I love protective!Daddy!Danno and Steve being Steve and putting everyone else before himself, and Chin taking care of Kono. Just all around love for this entire team. <3

Do terms of endearment also include making you cry in public areas? Just wondering. For future reference and everything. All that good stuff.

Protective Danny, okay, is absolutely adorable in all sorts of adorable. And so is Steve being Steve and Chin taking care of Kono which, by the way, I have in the works. She's drunk and in his car and not actually giving a fuck about the world right now.

Hey now, that's a low blow. Besides, that was the sand.

You have this scene in the works and you have yet to share it with me? Why are you keeping secrets from me? Don't you love me anymore? *wibble*

Was that sand? ;)

ALOHA, steveanddanno

I heard that with all the L's removed. It went something like "Dont you wuv me anymore"?

Er.

I do believe I have - fine. Fine, I will share it with you, even though it's probably getting scrapped because that's the way we work.
