of the house, that is. Spent most of the daytime hours over at a Baronial couple's home, with some newbies, and some old hands, just chatting and sewing, and helping a couple of newer folk figure out what sorts of outfits they want to make. Yes, that me time has been long in coming. Me times are precious wonderful things.

I was supposed to get some during Christmas break, but no go then for various reasons. I hope our Barony has these a&s get togethers more often. They do get together and socialize for fighter practice a few times a week, but usually I have family things I am doing at that time.

Awesome! I love it when stuff gets done and you can work on something with other people. That's why I love the crochet class MomP and I are taking. Not quite as cool as your day out, but it's intelligent conversation...Oh how I miss it so.

If I did knitting or took up crochet again I would try to get to the Baroness' little knitting group events. I may just take my embroidery and join them anyway.

Intelligent, or even silly adult conversation, is so needed when one is with little ones all week long. I am glad you are enjoying some adult voice time, too.
