This was started by sarahnucci and her husband as posted here. I've decided to join in, maybe with some home made cookies and a card, maybe with something more... but I would love to see others help out our hard working men and women serving this country overseas

What a great idea! I know there has been Operation Dear Abby in the past, and we had a friend in Iraq for several tours whom we have mailed packages to. We sent him a package of beanie babies for the local area children.

I am also a veteran and it is so nice to see other people being supportive of our troops, no matter their opinion of the wars/conflicts we are actively engaged in.
