Today was a good day, even productive considering both Rob and I are coughing and sneezing all over. He's doing better than I am, thankfully.

docryder took the kids for the afternoon to give us parents a much needed break, and time to do stuff that they would be in the way of doing. I needed the mental break

They have wall sconces with flickering fake flames at Ikea in the kids' dept. Actually, they have an entire group of kids bedding, etc. devoted to the whole castle/princess/knight thing.

I remember those from my one and only trip to an Ikea (we don't have one locally, the closest is in L.A.), so I looked them up, and Ikea is no longer carrying the torches! I am hoping to find another source, as they were cool.

I just saw them at my local Ikea. If they still have them on Tuesday when I am running over that way do you want me to get two for you?
