This just came across Tribe, and I had to share the link. It is a film on Kentwell! This is a promo piece.

I hope it will play in the states on a channel I can watch.

re-enactment, video, dvd, tudor

I'm in that in a dancing scene - you see my back a few times. Also, Edmund is in there laughing as he is being checked out for his new costume.

Have a look-ie here for little clips.

If you click on the second picture on the third row (second row beneath the video) then you see yours truly - and hear Edmund in the background. This clip didn't make it into the DVD.

Edmund and I were invited along with lots of other Kentwellies, to a special screening in London, last year I think! I liked the production but I did feel that they found an angle with some of the people who had major interviews that most Kentwellies are "escaping" from bad things in their lives - which really isn't the case.

PP (owner) comes across very well. One can see the serious problems he faces in keeping Kentwell going.

BTW - I tried to register with tribe and have been waiting for confirmation email for quite some time. No one replied to my query either so I can't post anything on Tribe at all!

Try again on Tribe. They were having major tech difficulties for awhile, but things are solid now, so maybe they lost your request in the shuffle.

The main Tribes I am on include Ren Faire History Snobs. We really would enjoy your voice there, as it is mostly California Ren Faire types, with various people around the states.

I second the invitation to the Snobs Tribe: I think you would enjoy it and I know the folks there would enjoy a "non Ren" perspective.
