With thanks to marymontsews, I like her term for the collective LJ sewing community who reads her sewing journal. So, I with thanks I am snagging her term.

So, dear LJ Pin Posse... my big April project, which is due at the end of April... is my 1590s Elizabethan outfit, from the skin out.

Use the blend, it's too hot for velvet and going down is just not allowed! I would try and couch something onto the sleeves and bodice in place of embroidery, it'll save time.

I am also offering my encouragement on your crazy-as-hell-what-one-earth-are-you-thinking-you're-insane project.

Thanks. And I already planned on couching the cording. Thankfully I have a huge roll or maybe even two waiting for me. I just need to afford some sort of silver spangles.
