Watched the movie trailer for "The Other Boleyn Girl", and now I am not sure if I do or do not want to see this at any time. I think I will see how those who do see it feel about it. I am not sure

I think Phillipa Gregory's work is very poor from a historical standpoint and it sets my teeth on edge to read it. And she gets a movie from that Harlequin Historical?

I think it was the repeated "lace mantillas" in her story about Katherine of Aragon that put me into hater category :) I just couldn't get past how wrong on an elementary level that was.

I'll no doubt see it, but I wonder if it will replace the Disney brat pack version of the Three Musketeers and First Knight for really bad historical fusion.

Damn, it looks even worse than the 2003 version, at least the gowns and headdresses were nice and inspiring in the first version :-/
