The Other Boleyn Girl; Dress in the Court of Henry VIII
Watched the movie trailer for "The Other Boleyn Girl", and now I am not sure if I do or do not want to see this at any time. I think I will see how those who do see it feel about it. I am not sure.
And it looks like the costuming is HIT and MISS, but not enough to tell for sure.

Well, off to do dishes, then to go read my new book. Yes, Dress in the Court of Henry VIII came in yesterday. And wow, so far from my quick flip through, it looks very good; very similar to QEWU. And there are even a few images of extant garments and portraits I had not seen before, including an extant German shamew/demi-gown/great coat showing front, side and back views. If only it showed the inner construction of those back pleats. I am hoping it describes it in some detail. So much more to learn.
