Sizing charts suck sometimes

I just want to say that I hate being between sizes. Even for sewing patterns and their size charts. ( more info and my debate behind the cut... )

Isn't it a nice dilemma to have though? Since some of those sizes were once much larger? :)

Yeah, it is a nice dilemma, and the measurements are smaller, but a frustrating one, too.

Do you have a sloper that fits your current measurements? If so, you should be able to adjust the patterns fairly easily by comparing measurements. If you don't have one, I could draft one for you, just let me know and I'll send you a measurement sheet. You'd need to make up a muslin and have someone help you fit it, but it's worth it.

I haven't made up a new sloper since I made up my Tudor gown the first time, before I started losing weight. I really should make up a new one, I guess I just didn't want to put in more effort only to have to do it all over again in a few months.

Thank you big time for the offer. I would appreciate it, and my husband I think can help me with some of the fitting... or one of my sewing friends locally. :-)
