Tudor breeches

I decided to work on the breeches tonight, since they are the simplist, and it gives me more time to think about how exactly to deal with the sleeve puffs. ( just exactly what I did on the breeches so far... )

Assuming that the breeches will be attached to a doublet, make sure you test how they fit with the doublet before you finalize the pattern.

Thank you for the reminder.

In this case, the client does not want them to tie together, since he wants to be able to dress himself (he goes alone to events). So I suggested suspenders for him to wear to keep them up.

I always leave my hose tied to the appropriate doublet and put everything on at once like a jumpsuit.

So, if I may ask a delicate question.. how do you tie your doublet back up after you are done with the bathroom, when you have to sit on the pot (and hence have to untie the doublet from the breeches)?
