Henrician Skirt dress diary

I spent last night working on the Henrician skirt, putting on the last of the trim, and many, many, many yards of cord along both edges of the trim. Hmmm... rough estimate, about 31 yards of cording. Yeah, it's a big skirt at about 7 yards wide ( Read more... )

Are you doing the rolled pleats in opposing pairs, like box pleats, or all facing the same way, like knife pleats?

I had thought of the box pleats look, but I am planning on them facing the same way like knife pleats, to make it look similar to the painting... but it may turn out differently. I will post again when they are done later tonight.
