I've been putting in my LJ entries to my personal web site, in the dress diary section, and I have way more entries than I care to work on today. So, I just decided to put the photos there for now, and maybe do a short writeup later.

very pretty!! what fabric is the under dress? it looks irridecent. Were you able to doccument that? That would be so cool. This was the dress you were working on to be all doccumented wasn't it? my brain is kinda addled I have been up all night so it is entirely possiable I thinking of another dress. Either way it's very pretty

The fabrics were:

Kirtle in yellow linen, with silk changeable taffeta in a gold & peach colors (yes, changeable taffeta is period) where it shows, with hem bound in red cotton velvet.

Gown in deep red twill gabardine wool (twill is a period weave), with the sleeves in wine & black changeable taffeta, hem bound in black cotton velvet.

While I can document it all, I am not going to be putting it into competition.

I didn't mean to sound like I was douting you on any of it :) I just thought it was cool and something I would have never thought to use or see if it were period :D Yay for more options!!!
