pants fitting woes

Grrr... after all the carefull fitting, and reworking of darts and all on my pants, when the waistband went in, things didn't work out right. My backside, which was just right under the elastic tape, if not a bit low, is now too high and actually sticks out in the back at the waist. The front fits ok, but it dips in a semi-V shape that is
