The golden yellow linen looks good, and as far as I can tell while wet, not streaked. But boy is it bright "golden yellow". To compare, think of McD's golden yellow arches. Yep, that bright. I hope it will lighten up a bit when it dries

To otherwise dye the linen with natural dyes, it would have taken about 2.5-3 pds of appropriate matter, like onions skins or marigold heads, and lots of simmering over a heat source. And linen doesn't take to natural dyes as well as wool or silk does.
Someday I will get more into natural dyeing.
