So the government is trying to curb the congestion on the roads by getting motorists to pay more ERP. They say that they hope to get more people to use public transport, and will be improve public transport infrastructure ( Read more... )

Once I mistook 166 for 188, as I used to catch the former from West C'mmonwealth Ave to the IBP. That was when I discovered I have contracted astigmatism.

Eh! 166 is SBS bus, normally a double-decker; 188 is SMRT, usually a bendy-bus. Very different hor!

hahaha, I know. I was so surprised and confused that morning I din flag it; and unfortunately no one else flagged it down too. By the time I realised my mistake, it was too late.

Just to add to the embarrassment:
I thought it was due to work fatigue. So, I took leave to rest. Nothing changed. Urgh!

The govt has to thank Mr Mah Bow Tan for all his ingenious policies that brings revenue, and tonnes of it to the government.

Perpetual payments via ERP as opposed to one time COE tax was his idea, and thus increasing number of cars also his amongst many other money making policies implemented by the government for the people's good? or for the people's bad?

Bah! So much to pay for nowadays... Lucky for carpooling....
