Thank you so much Mystery Author, for the clever way you brought my prompt to life. I was immdiately captivated at the start and just as eager as the main characters to find some clues about what was happening. I also like the idea of the eight of them as friends, it shows how everyone has found a place after the war and new friendships have been formed and the idea of them playing games and getting pissed every other weekend sounds properly British to me ( ... )

So there is actually more? I really look forward to your extended version and I am glad you were so thrilled (and relieved?) that I like this version already so much.

You know, I had no particular genre in mind when writing this prompt, since I think it can be anything from mystery, adventure, love story to humour. The only thing I wanted was something creative, in character and original and a happy ending and you gloriously delivered in all aspects!

I can see why both Hermione and Severus would choose to leave the magical world. This was beautifully written.
