Oh, Mystery Author, this is one of my favorite scenarios, where Severus and Hermione somehow find each other in the Muggle world, and come together. The background of the pub employees provided humor and a contrast between the 'safe' Muggle life they'd both chosen with the wizarding lifestyle they'd both left, but still missed. And the ending leaves open the possibility of so much more that could happen between them. Lovely story, Mystery Author!
