[Ciel actually bothers to knock before opening the door. The normally stoic woman seems a little off-kilter tonight... it's been a long day. Even now, she's just taking a quick break from comforting/standing guard over Hana.]

You haven't come to see Hana in over an hour... So what's on your mind?

Working out a puzzle. A puzzle that has no answer to it right now. Like any question it has an answer, but this one isn't forthcoming right now.

[Lowering her earphones which was still blasting orchestrated music, she pushed a holo-screen aside and sighed.] How's she doing?

She's better, but... well, this isn't something that'll be settled in a day. She just had her entire world shattered today, after all...

[Ciel peered over Eri's shoulder at the holo-screen, and tilted her head to the side.] Physical comparisons between Mad and Hana? I suppose that makes sense, given what Mad was screaming about her family... but even a passing glance could have told you this, Eri.

I know. Both her and Mad apparently. This is going to be quite the headache.

[Eri shook her head, pointing several pictures out.]

It's not just the physical I'm worried about. I'm looking through the older files I have on tap from COFFRET, and I haven't been able to find much, if anything. There's something missing here and I'm not too sure what I'm missing at all.

(Momo comes by after her scrap with Mad. Momo knocks gently on the door before waiting a beat to open it. Looks like the emotional roller coaster that Momo was on because of all that happened today just crashed as she looks worse for wear.)

Yeah sure, c'mon in. [Eri is working on another mix of Mad and Hana's features before wadding up the virtual image and tossing it to the trash bin.]

So much has happened today. I'm still trying to process it all. It doesn't help that I just had to wrestle a gun away from Mad.

(Momo looks at Eri's research.)

So you think that Mad and Hana are sisters? I thought the report was that Himura killed her other sister during the incident with Blanc...Though I guess you ca't believe every report.

If that's true, we're looking at a dead girl. The only way to confirm things is asking the Himesakis directly. But we're out of range of the place first.

Well I can't promise it getting worse, but I haven't been able to find a pure link between physical comparisons yet.

[Eri wadded up more of the holographic pictures and tossed them into the recycle bin.] How's Hana doing?

Not well. Ciel and I have been trading watch. She's... a mess. The physical wounds aren't bad, but... she's broken, Eri. She's hurt, and confused, and we're only barely getting through to her. She just can't see past what Mad said and did right now.

Which... brings me to the other problem. I went to see Mad. She's in an even worse state. She was trying to kill herself. I think she's just tired of being the bottom of the totem pole, although... she's angry. At all six of us, but especially Hana, and Himura, for that matter. She believes that we're all in it together to make sure she dies.

[She pauses for a moment.] She said something about watching people being torn apart by Blanc... about Himura saying she'd "take care of her, even if she wasn't around"... she said Himura tried to kill her...

Both of them need to be under watch. I'm glad you two are doing so. But yeah this is ridiculous, and I wonder where she got the impression anyhow that we're trying to kill her anyhow?

[Swiping a couple of files into the view, Eri sighed.] Really? That's interesting, very interesting. There is a casualty list when the Blanc start up went bad, but I didn't think there was any civilians on the area.

All of this implies though that Himura and Hana are close to Mad in some way, but I don't see anything in the files at all. No one named Madeline.
