[Heading into her private room where she did all of her work, Eri turned on a song and set it to repeat as she picked up some headphones and placed them on her head.] COFFRET, fire it up.

[COFFRET looked up and he floated obediently into the air as several holographic screens appeared around her.] What are we looking for?Names, dates, at least

[Ciel actually bothers to knock before opening the door. The normally stoic woman seems a little off-kilter tonight... it's been a long day. Even now, she's just taking a quick break from comforting/standing guard over Hana.]

You haven't come to see Hana in over an hour... So what's on your mind?

[marinefashion]

Working out a puzzle. A puzzle that has no answer to it right now. Like any question it has an answer, but this one isn't forthcoming right now.

[Lowering her earphones which was still blasting orchestrated music, she pushed a holo-screen aside and sighed.] How's she doing?

She's better, but... well, this isn't something that'll be settled in a day. She just had her entire world shattered today, after all...

[Ciel peered over Eri's shoulder at the holo-screen, and tilted her head to the side.] Physical comparisons between Mad and Hana? I suppose that makes sense, given what Mad was screaming about her family... but even a passing glance could have told you this, Eri.

I know. Both her and Mad apparently. This is going to be quite the headache.

[Eri shook her head, pointing several pictures out.]

It's not just the physical I'm worried about. I'm looking through the older files I have on tap from COFFRET, and I haven't been able to find much, if anything. There's something missing here and I'm not too sure what I'm missing at all.

Have you considered looking at DNA files? I don't know if COFFRET would be able to access those, but if you 'could' get your hands on them, it would be much faster.

[Ciel reaches over Eri's shoulder and pulls over the keypad, rapidly punching in a search for DNA files on Hana first; whether or not it works depends on COFFRET. The intensity she has towards this is... very out of character for her, but it's been an odd day.]

I've compared the sisters, but not Mad. I haven't gotten access to the samples and right now she's not in any condition for me to check.

[perfect_frost]

I see... [The older woman straightens up with a sigh and rubs her chin.]

If I had access to one of the servers in Fairy Park, I could get access to the DNA files, but... I don't know if there's anything I can do with just COFFRET's access. And of course, I didn't bother keeping that torn piece of Mad's shirt...

Yeah, I've only got the sisters, but not Mad. And getting a sample is harder than we think. I think we should try and hook up to the Park as soon as possible.

[perfect_frost]

That would be for the best. Once we've been linked to Fairy Park, we can use my access codes to find Mad's samples... the thing is, I don't know when we might get that chance. It could be weeks, months... I don't know if we'll be able to do anything useful before things come to a head.

[She sighs and rubs the back of her neck; she hated feeling powerless like this...]

And the park moves around. It could be anywhere at this point. But still, it's the best lead we've got so far.

[Feeling helpless was a big issue, and Eri sighed as she wadded up another comparison.] This is one big mess.

Mmhm... I suppose for now, all we can do is try to keep an eye on Mad and make sure nothing else happens. If we're lucky, we might manage to get... something off of her, though I doubt the Chalice has anything readily available for DNA analysis regardless.

[After a brief silence, she... ruffled Eri's hair.] I'd better get back to Hana's room. I don't expect Mad will try anything, but... better safe than sorry. Make some time to come see her before bed. And see if you can't bring Sora along, alright?

[marinefashion]

Probably not. This has some nice facilities but I don't think it has everything we need.

[Eri chuckled at the motion and nodded.] All right, I will. I promise.

[perfect_frost]

Alright then, see you soon. And remember, bring Sora if you can.

[And with that, she slips out of the room to go resume her self-assigned guard duty.]
